Book sale begins at Forest Grove City Library
For the next three days, Forest Grove has a new used bookstore.

With prices as low as $1, the Friends of the Forest Grove Library book sale opened Thursday morning in the library's Rogers Room with more than 8,000 used books, CDs, LPs and audiobooks for sale.
The sale is open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8 and Friday and Saturday May 9 and 10 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Friends of the Forest Grove Library, a nonprofit that supports programs at the Forest Grove City Library, said they had so many books donated they were pausing further donations until after the sale.
Hardback books are $3, mass market paperbacks (4" wide) are $1, other paperbound books are $2, and children’s books and coffee table books are priced as marked, the Friends said.
CDs, LPs and audiobooks are $1, and multi-title media sets are $3.
The sale accepts card and cash.
Current members of the Friends of the Forest Grove Library get a 20% discount on their purchases on Friday, and a membership can be purchased or renewed at the book sale. Find out more online.
A Saturday bag sale will allow shoppers to fill a standard brown paper bag with books and media for just $10.
