The Forest Grove Festival of the Arts is back for a third month
Bluegrass, theatre, indigenous-focused jazz, barbershop music, art and more are on tap for the third round of the Forest Grove Festival of the Arts. Open the story for a full schedule and an interactive view of what to expect!

The third installment of the Forest Grove Festival of the Arts is back Wednesday, July 2.
A monthly festival held every first Wednesday of the month through August, the event will coincide with the Forest Grove Farmers Market, held from 4 to 8 p.m.
The Festival Zone, on 21st Avenue and Main Street, features a stage and booths, and spills into other locations in downtown Forest Grove.
July's iteration of the festival will feature bluegrass & Americana group Always a Story, followed by musical highlights from Theatre in the Grove's upcoming slate of shows and Wen’ipt, an indigenous-focused contemporary jazz combo.
The Festival Zone will feature several interactive activities. Theatre in the Grove volunteers will practice monologues and scenes with participants, and the Forest Grove Public Arts Commission will invite festival-goers to add to "community poetry" and take home a free poetry book in English or Spanish, while supplies last.
Outside of the Festival Zone, several other Forest Grove locations will host portions of the festival. Valley Art will have make and take crafts at their booth in front of their Main Street gallery, while Gann Brothers Printing will demonstrate letterpress techniques while making patriotic cards.
Downstairs, Erickson-Hall Fine Art will demonstrate a nature-inspired water media demo.
Continuing down the road, the Forest Grove City Library will host the coed Ballad Town Harmony chorus and quartet.
