The Washington County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating a 63-year-old man who went missing Thursday after leaving a family member's home in Forest Grove.

Henry Love left around 1:30 p.m. on Jan. 22 in a 2021 red Kia Sportage with Oregon license plate 742PQB, according to the sheriff's office. The vehicle has a bumper sticker on the back that says "LOVE" with a paw print in place of the letter "O."

Love was headed to a friend's home in Southeast Portland and has not been seen or heard from since, according to deputies.

He is described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, 230 pounds, bald with a gray mustache and glasses. Deputies note he has lost 30-40 pounds since his photo was taken. He is believed to be wearing a bright blue jacket, jeans, and a gray beanie.

Love takes critical medications, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information on Love's whereabouts is asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office initially published the incorrect license plate number. This story has been updated to read the correct plate number.
