Washington County Open Studios Tour is Oct. 18 - 19

The Washington County Open Studios Tour will return to the county on October 18 and 19, with more than 60 artists across 50 locations opening their workspaces to visitors, including in Forest Grove, Hillside, and the Hagg Lake area.

A local school board furiously called the county superintendent when the teacher didn't show on the first day of school. As it turns out, it was their fault: They had botched the opening day of the Hillside school. The teacher wasn't contracted to start until the next week.
