Each day the Forest Grove Police Department receives and responds to anywhere from 60-80 calls for service - give or take a few. This includes calls and reports generated by the community, as well as self-initiated activity over the course of three shifts, 24/7.

In the month of October 2025, we serviced 1,914 calls total.

Of those, 758 were calls made to dispatch (911 or non-emergency), and 1,156 were self-initiated (such as traffic stops and extra patrols).

Officers also made 36 arrests during the month, however that number includes arrests that resulted in citations as well as trips to the jail.

Police also conducted 64 welfare checks, 227 traffic stops, as well as 138 extra patrols - specifically spending time at and around a particular area to address suspicious activity, traffic safety, and/or community concerns.

Among the 1,914 calls, the FGPD responded to 116 calls involving suspicious persons, vehicles, or circumstances, as well as: 21 thefts, 5 assaults, 3 burglaries, 8 DUIIs, 20 hit-and-runs, and 30 disturbances.
