The Washington County Board of Commissioners will host the final of four county Town Halls this year Tuesday, December 6 at 6 p.m., focusing on the work of each of the elected commissioners and their work in 2022.�

The Washington County Board of Commissioners will host the final of four county Town Halls this year Tuesday, December 6 at 6 p.m., focusing on the work of each of the elected commissioners and their work in 2022.

The town hall will be held in-person and online, with dial in options available as well. Pre-registration is not required.

Board Chair Kathryn Harrington, Commissioner Jerry Willeywho represents residents in Banks, Gales Creek, and the surrounding unincorporated communitiesCommissioner Nafisa Fai, Commissioner Roy Rogers, and Commissioner Pam Treece are expected to attend.

The town hall will be physically held in the auditorium of the countys Public Services Building (155 N 1st Ave, Hillsboro), and can also be viewed via Zoom and on Youtube. For those attending in-person, masks are optional, but encouraged.

The county said that following a presentation, there would be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and make statements to board members, either in person, via Zoom, or in written form for those unable to attend.

In addition to Spanish language services, American Sign Language interpretation will be provided at the Town Hall. Those needing interpretation for other languages must request those services no later than Friday, December 2 by calling 503-846-8685 or by email at cao@co.washington.or.us.
