Theatre in the Grove's The Rocky Horror Picture Show's three-week run begins Friday night.

"This isn’t your grandma’s theatre (unless she’s a fishnet-wearing rebel)," a press release from the theatre read. "It’s a bold, unapologetic celebration of weirdness, sex, and freedom — and you’re invited," the theatre continued.

"Mature audiences only," the theatre cautioned.

"Follow squeaky-clean couple Brad and Janet as their world is flipped inside-out by the otherworldly Dr. Frank-N-Furter and his entourage of misfits, and rock-n-roll freaks. With iconic songs like “Sweet Transvestite,” “Hot Patootie,” and “The Time Warp,” this show is a high-energy, raunchy party where the audience is just as much a part of the madness as the cast," the Theatre said.

The theatre will sell audience participation kits, and will have two midnight showings.

Tickets can be purchased online.

Zachary Centers, a well-known face around the theatre, and the nonprofit's president, directs.
