Master Sergeant Tom Baker turned 100 on Monday, and the World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veteran was honored by Forest Grove American Legion Post 2 with a ceremony in front of friends, family, fellow residents, and staff of the Marquis Assisted Living Center.
Forest Grove American Legion Post 2 will offer what they have a dubbed a "PTSD Sanctuary" to veterans affected by fireworks in the group's Legion Hall at 21st Avenue and Main Street.
Forest Grove's American Legion Post 2 will hold a Memorial Day observance at Forest View Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, featuring guest speakers, an F-15 flyover, and a 21-gun salute.
