The city of Forest Grove is seeking a successor to Forest Grove Police Department Chief Henry Reimann, who plans to retire when a replacement has been found.
Forest Grove High School officials were made aware of a list of 43 Forest Grove High School students and Forest Grove School District staff members on a "hit list," officials said. There is no active threat, according to police.

The Forest Grove Police Department has two new officers, the city said, following the swearing-in of Officer Richard Yamanoi and Officer Justin James on Oct. 9.
A woman was shot Sunday and remains in the hospital. "It does not appear to be self inflicted," Forest Grove Police Department Sergeant Andrew Colasurdo said in an email to News in the Grove Monday morning.
