On Saturday, March 1 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers are needed to help clean exhibits, tag items in the center's gift shop, and otherwise spruce up the center, located on Highway 6 between Tillamook and Gales Creek.
Gales Creek's Zephyr Organics, a community-supported agriculture (CSA) farm on Old Wilson River Road will be a participant at the Pacific Northwest CSA Coalitions CSA Share Fair in Helvetia on Feb. 22.
The Gales Creek, Verboort and Roy CPO 13, which usually meets in Banks, will meet next on January 15, opting to skip their December meeting for the holidays. Those interested in an effort to overhaul the half-century old program can attend a Tuesday meeting for more info.
