Master Sergeant Tom Baker turned 100 on Monday, and the World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veteran was honored by Forest Grove American Legion Post 2 with a ceremony in front of friends, family, fellow residents, and staff of the Marquis Assisted Living Center.
Nearly 200 people gathered on the grounds of Forest Grove's Forest View Cemetery Monday morning to honor members of the U.S. armed forces who have died while serving.
Forest Grove's American Legion Post 2 will hold a Memorial Day observance at Forest View Cemetery at 11 a.m. Monday, featuring guest speakers, an F-15 flyover, and a 21-gun salute.
