A Forest Grove woman missing since early March has been located and reunited with her family, the Forest Grove Police Department said Wednesday.
"We want to express our deepest thanks to the community for helping to get the word out, keeping an eye out for her, and staying hopeful for her safe return," the department said.
According to the police, Katy Schlesser, 24, of Forest Grove was last seen March 7 before being reunited with her family.
In a mid-year update to the Forest Grove School Board, Superintendent Suzanne West said the district faced layoffs and that federal immigration enforcement is believed to be driving a spike in student withdrawals from the district.
