A Forest Grove man died in a three-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

A Forest Grove man died in a three-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.
According to a news release made by the county's law enforcement agency, deputies responded to a crash at 1:23 a.m. Wednesday, April 16 on SW Farmington Rd near SW 190th Avenue.
There, deputies found three vehicles involved. Forest Grove resident Rene Jones, 62, was killed in the crash.
According to the news release, investigators with the Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team (CART) learned that Jones was driving a 2003 Mazda heading West on SW Farmington Road Wednesday morning when he left his lane of travel and crashed head-on into a Nissan that had been traveling eastbound.
Jones was killed in the crash; the driver of the Nissan was transported to a local hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The sheriff's office said occupants in a third vehicle involved in the crash were uninjured.
Jones' family was notified of his death, according to the sheriff's office.
