Forest Grove High School officials were made aware of a list of 43 Forest Grove High School students and Forest Grove School District staff members on a "hit list," officials said. There is no active threat, according to police.
In response to a dip in attendance attributed to immigration enforcement fears, the Forest Grove School District (FGSD) Board of Directors approved a partnership with the Hillsboro School District Tuesday morning that will allow up to 30 FGSD students to attend school virtually.
A rumor circulating on social media that a meeting was held at Neil Armstrong Middle School informing the school that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) would be at the school on Tuesday, Oct. 21 is false, the school's interim principal said Monday evening.
