A windstorm swept through the region overnight, knocking out power for thousands, littering roadways with debris, and closing schools in Gales Creek and Dilley.
More than 300 students from the Forest Grove High School left the school campus and walked nearly five-miles round trip to the flagpole east of Safeway and back to protest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Washington County.
Forest Grove High School officials were made aware of a list of 43 Forest Grove High School students and Forest Grove School District staff members on a "hit list," officials said. There is no active threat, according to police.
