Forest Grove Pride Celebration 2025 will span three events in July
The Forest Grove community will celebrate and recognize the LGBTQ+ community with the Forest Grove Pride Celebration 2025, three events scheduled for July 12 and 13.

While Pride Month officially concluded in June, the Forest Grove community will continue to celebrate and recognize the LGBTQ+ community during the month of July with a series of events.
Forest Grove Pride Celebration 2025 will be holding three main public events this month to celebrate pride: Pink Pony Pride Potluck, Pride Block Party and Pride After Party. These events are intended to honor and uplift members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies and anyone who feels marginalized, according to Forest Grove Pride Celebration 2025 organizer Max Wieneke.
“We want to show people that pride exists in Forest Grove, and that you are not alone,” said Wieneke in a recent interview with News in the Grove.
Pink Pony Pride Potluck, taking place on July 12, will be hosted at the 80 acre farm Black Horse Hollow from 1p.m. to 4p.m. The event will have “great music, cute animals, games, and more for all ages,” according to a post on Black Hollow Farm’s website. This is a free celebration, and guests are encouraged, but not required, to contribute a dish to the potluck.
The main goal of this event is to “find and get to know your community,” said Wieneke. He hopes that this will become an annual event, and designed it to “build on local small business engagement as well as promoting safe spaces in agriculture for all marginalized groups - while also having some serious FUN,” said Wieneke in a post on Black Hollow Farm’s website.
The exact address for Black Hollow Farms is 45560 NW Buckley Rd, Forest Grove, OR 97116, USA.
The celebration will pick up the following day on Sunday, July 13, with the second annual Forest Grove Pride Block Party from 4p.m. to 7p.m. Presented by City Club of Forest Grove and the Forest Grove Pride Committee, this event aims to “create a space to celebrate who we all are openly, to be surrounded by love, belonging, and support, to build community, to provide much needed resources, and to show up in defiance for the society and government that wants to push us all out,” according to a post on All Events Forest Grove.
This celebration is free for all guests, and security will be present. Wieneke hopes that this event will allow members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to “get to know their community.”
“It is opening us up to be more vulnerable,” Wieneke said.
The block party will be held on 21st avenue, between Slow Rise Bakehouse and the Forest Grove United Church of Christ. The exact address is 2032 College Way, Forest Grove, OR 97116-1753, United States, Forest Grove, Oregon.
Immediately following the block party, there will be an after party hosted at Forest Grove’s Taqueria Corona. While the celebration is mainly catered towards adults, all are welcome to attend. This celebration is meant to serve as a “closing ceremony” to the pride celebrations, according to Wieneke.
“I am so excited about this one,” said Wieneke. “It is about community, it’s about not being scared,” Wieneke said.
Taqueria Corona is located at 2009 Main St, Forest Grove, OR 97116.
Wieneke says that these events would not be possible if it wasn't for the immense support of the Forest Grove community.
“For such a short amount of time, I am shocked at the amount of support Forest Grove has shown, I am blown away,” said Wieneke.
