The Forest Grove Parks and Recreation Team invites Forest Grove families to a free night of swimming and outdoor movie entertainment this Friday.
Hosted at the Forest Grove Aquatic Center and sponsored by Forest Grove Ace Hardware, the event will take place on Friday, Aug 1. The program will begin at 7:15 p.m. with a free public swim until 8:45 p.m., followed by a showing of Disney’s Moana 2 in the spray park area of the Aquatic Center as part of the “Park Flix” summer film series.
“Join the Parks & Recreation Team on August 1st from 7:15pm-8:45pm, for a free public swim, sponsored by Forest Grove Ace Hardware,” a post from the Forest Grove Parks and Recreation said on the City of Forest Grove’s website. “Stay after dusk for Park Flix out in the spray park area of the Aquatic Center,” the post continued.
Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks and folding chairs to use as they enjoy the film.
The Forest Grove Parks and Recreation Team says that this event is a “fun way to spend a warm summer night with your friends & community.”
