🕯️ 200 gather in Forest Grove for vigil: 'We want ICE gone from our communities'
A candlelight vigil to remember two people shot and killed by federal immigration agents drew around 200 people to downtown Forest Grove Sunday evening.
In a mid-year update to the Forest Grove School Board, Superintendent Suzanne West said the district faced layoffs and that federal immigration enforcement is believed to be driving a spike in student withdrawals from the district.
🌷 Gales Creek Garden Club to celebrate 50th anniversary in April
The Gales Creek Garden Club, established in 1976, is inviting present and former members, members of garden clubs in the western Washington County area, and Gales Creek community members to a celebration.
