Deputies responded to a medical call at a location off Ginger Street Wednesday evening and found a deceased male, the Washington County Sheriff's Office said.

In an email to News in the Grove, Washington County Sheriff's Office Deputy Kendall Hazel said deputies responded and found a male who was pronounced deceased.

"It's unclear at this time what the nature of the death is," Hazel said.

Detectives and a Medicolegal Death Investigator with the county's medical examiner's office were on scene investigating.

"We don't have much confirmed information at this time," Hazel said.
