Two festivals are expected to bring crowds to Forest Grove's downtown Saturday, with Valley Art's 35th Annual Chalk Art Festival and the 61st Annual Forest Grove Corn Roast kicking off the fall season.

From 9 a.m. through 4 p.m., artists of all ages will fill the squares of downtown Forest Grove's sidewalk in a decades-long fundraiser for the Valley Art Association, Forest Grove's oldest nonprofit art gallery.

Find the details of that event online.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Pacific University will host the 61st Annual Forest Grove Corn Roast, featuring more than five dozen vendors, live music, crafts, games, and of course, corn.

Find the festival at College Way and 21st Avenue.

Find a map of vendors and further information online.

With the dual festivals will come traffic and road closures, the Forest Grove police said.

"Please keep a lookout for festival goers, and note that many of the sidewalks will be occupied by artists," the city's police department said.
